Women have gender specific considerations as it relates to fitness and nutrition. What these are
and how to properly address each in your workout plan can and does produce positive results. Spending many years in the field of fitness and personal training, one thing has become very apparent to
me. Women who weight train don’t always produce the results they are trying to achieve. Frustration and apathy are common
feelings. As a woman and a fitness professional, I was determined to develop a program specifically designed just for women.
Through my educational back round and experience, I developed the Strip Down Fit Workout program. The first implementation
of Strip Down Fit produced results and success with 6 women for a 6 week period. These clients learned a different approach
to weight training, proper form and technique and nutritional education. The old adage that weight training will make you
“big and bulky”, was quickly dispelled. Women were building lean muscle, burning fat, losing inches, increasing
metabolism and bone density, regulating blood sugar and feeling confident in the weight room!
Strip Down fit is for all ages and fitness levels. It’s personalized for each individual client after an initial
consultation. It is designed around the basic principals of weight training, proper form and technique, and core stabilization.
What makes this program different, is that I have developed a way to weight train in a circuit/sequence pattern, working muscle
groups to the point of fatigue. I refer to the sequence within each exercise as “stripping down” from the top
4-6 RM or Maximum Rep Weight. This is a different weight for each person, as no two people have the same strength or level
of fitness. This is my basic formula for training muscles to build lean and burn fat.
Strip Down Fit is designed for an individual to work independent of the trainer. With initial direction and guidance,
they can be on their own, using the trainer as a resource at any time. It also works just as successfully for those that do
want personal training sessions, with a Strip Down Fit trainer, on a regular basis.
Strip Down Fit has changed the way women weight train. The success of this program speaks for itself. Many women
have found and made this program part of their lives, due to their great results!
